We still have fairly open regulations for self-builds. A set of rules are available and a detailed inspection is required before the vehicle will be allowed to be registered for road use.

Ford Falconski.

they had nothing else and had to drive what was avaiable. And well combining a french car with its eeeh temperament and romanian commie craftmanship and quality control is  a winning combo. ^_^

He forgot the still produced Lada Niva:

now with improved calatyst for Euro5 emission standards. Makes you wonder how the motor control firmware is programmed to handle tests. :D

and now a pick-upski is offered too:

and an extreme rebuild/customization/tuning from Greece:

Not the same folks as in Maranello. IIRC these guys are owned by an Italian conglomerate called BCS, specializing in low-hp tractors, both the 2- and 4-wheeled variety.

it´s well known that ferrucio lamborghini started his car production after enzo ferrari told him to piss off after he tried to tell him a thing or two how ferraris might be improved. i for second hoped enzo answered the same way ´´look the hydraulic outlet is rubbish, amico!´´  :(
