Supposedly the Chinese company that runs the Chinese version of WoT included this in the documentation of Chinese Armor that they provided to WG when the Chinese tank lines were being designed.  There's no indication that it ever made it past the doodle on the napkin stage but I guess it's popular on the Chinese server so they decided to sell it over here for a while.

Have seen several so far. Not overly impressed.
Without having a clue I get a tier8-M60-feeling.

I have a type 59, I have a Patton and I don't see either benefiting from swapping hulls or turrets.  As far as I can see it's just a way to separate the collectors from their cash and I'm fine with that.

At first I thought it was meant to be this:
