You are going to need a computer targeting system to hit anything at four kilometers (2.4 miles).

Yeah it is complete bs as noted above.

Welp, brits are claiming to hit targets at comparable ranges without fancy FCS...You are going to need a computer targeting system to hit anything at four kilometers (2.4 miles).

canadians actually. But I think they use a small pocket computer cupled with weather sensors instead of a book with tables nowadays. And I think that can be considered a fire controlsystem of sorts.
The .408 CheyTac cartridge can reach that far, but that rifle looks like an optimized rig for recreational shooting to the farthest possible range. I doubt it is grunt proof.

The way round this is to have guided munitions. A guided 12.7x99 is going to be a whole lot easier to achieve great accuracy at very long ranges with than ballistic solutions, even .408 CheyTac. Does anyone know how far they have progressed with the guided fifty calibre? There was a test video put out a few years ago, but it all seems to have gone a bit quiet since.

Recall there was a company that provided a rifle with a targeting system that could cast to a tablet display. IIRC, you designated a target and it would track it within the field of view., and provide an offset. You'd pull the trigger and it would fire when you got the alignment to the offset right.

It explicitly isn't.
I am intrigued by the 'aluminium barrel' - I suppose this is a thinner steel barrel shrink fitted into a fluted aluminium sleeve ?

Canada-legal G19; I can easily see myself owning one of these in Alabama!

Does the tip of the barrel have micro engraved "sorry" on it?
As long as it's over 104mm and does not fire .25 or .32 caliber ammo unless it is used by a recognized sport shooting authority it's legal to own in Canada. I do know that pistol shooting is getting more popular in Canada but its still a tiny market compared to the USA.
