1956. Reconnaissance  Company, Tank Brigade

It was identical to a 1954. version, but added 3rd platoon with 3 x M-18 Hellcat. It is not clear which units had 1954. and which ones had 1956. org, since they were used in parallel until mid 1960s.

Total - 108 ( 17 + 30 + 12 + 49 ) men - 3 x IFV M-80A*, 3 x Armored scout car BRDM-2**,  87 x AR, 6 x SAW, 6 x SR, 1 x P, 23 x AP, 1 x 6-seat light vehicle, 4 x 1.5t truck, 1 x 1.5t radio truck, 1 x 3t truck, 1 x 5t truck, 2 x MC, 24 x Radio, 35 x LAW

 

*Each IFV M-80A has :

- 20mm automatic gun M-55 - 400 rounds

- 7.62mm MG M86 (PKT) - 2000 rounds - 1600 ball, 400 tracer

- 2 x ATGM launcher - 4 x missile

- 1 x AR - 5 magazines (for Vehicle Cmd)

- 12 x hand grenade

- 1 x LAW

- 1 x Signal pistol

 

*** Each BRDM-2 carries:

- 14.5mm MG - 500 rounds - 400 x API, 100 x API-T

- 7.62mm MG PKT - 2000 rounds - 1600 x ball, 400 x T

- 2 x AR /10 mags total (for a Cmd and Driver)

- 6 x hand grenade

- 2 x LAW

- 1 x signal pistol
