Hey all,

I've started a new video series I call The Tanks of World War II.  So far I have made two episodes.  My goal is to do an episode on nearly every single tank used in the Second World War, going in somewhat chronological order.  I am still working out the best way to write and shoot these videos, so expect them to get better as they go along.  I have sub-divided the series by campaign, the first four videos focus on the invasion of Poland.  Video one is on the Polish TK-3 and TKS tankette, video two is on the German Panzer I.  Let me know what you all think.

Also, it seems I have forgotten how to embed videos in this forum.  Anyhow, any help in spreading the word about this series would be much appreciated.

Sounds like a big project :)

Might you consider including the second Sino-Japanese war that starts in 1937. Maybe a little unconventional feeling to start here, but maybe unconventional is sensational. Maybe. Some tanks like Pz1 and Vickers 6 ton were used by the Chinese Nationalists as well, mostly in the Battle of Shanghai. So then if doing so, then Japanese tanks such as the Type 89 I-Go (or Chi-Ro) and Type 95 Ha-Go would fit here. Also might be worth including the tankettes as well such as the Type 94 tankette and Type 97 Te-Ke since they saw a lot of use.

The following list of battles that involved Japanese tanks could be helpful. Perhaps a few parts are not entirely accurate, but overall, good I think.

I had noticed you had started this series Walter and watched the first episode. Good content. :)

I second the proposal for including the wars before what is normally called WW2. Spanish Civil War maybe as well? Though there is a lot of repetition with Fall Weiß, Fall Gelb and early Barabrossa.

I'm trying to include the Spanish Civil War as background information in some of the videos.  For example, it will get covered a bit when I get to the T-26.

The information is great, the graphics are great, but you need to liven it up a bit, more inflections in the voice, a bit more movement and some more humour.

I'm working on that.  I have been using a chair so I don't lose my positioning when I have to get up to flip script pages or turn on the camera.  I might go with standing up in future episodes.  I'm working on the delivery.  Primary focus right now is on being as informative and accurate as possible.

Interesting series. I particularly like the early panzers.

Perhaps you should prectice your talks.

You insert "eh" and "um" a lot, which detracts from what you are saying.

When I get off script and improvise, I get a lot more ums.  Not really sure what to do about it, it's just how I talk.
