And if anyone knows the T-34's acceleration characteristics, could you please share it? It has been impossible to find this info, which I find strange given the exposure that the T-34 has gotten over the years.

BTW: this is on the new English language channel of the Panzermuseum Münster, if you hadn't found it yet.

 

Munster and Münster are two very different cities in Germany. One is in the Lüneburg Heath surrounded by training areas and barracks and has the Panzermuseum, whereas the other is a bishop's seat in Westphalia and university city with lots of bicycles. Munster is the one you want to visit, if you are into armoured or CRBN warfare. ;)

In 1978, the USMC 2d Tk Bn deployed with the 4th MEB to Exercise Bold Guard, offloading from amphib shipping at Brunsbüttel [Hamburg]. One of our convoys sent to Munsterlager [for pre-exercise training] found that out the hard way.

This book, does it cover later developments like the T34/85? Thats the one im most interested in.

No, nothing about the T34/85. Just the design iterations up to approval of "final" design to go into production.
