...

And in yet more political news, Britain runs out of Sperm. :)

http://www.theguardi...s-running-short

I dont know if this is predictable or what....

Entirely predictable Mike, there is nothing on telly of a Saturday evening. :)

There hasn't been anything worth watching on UK Saturday nite TV since the mid-1980s, and only then if The Professionals was on.  :)

That would suit me fine mate, along with a growing majority of my countrymen & women I suspect. Altho the way you lot are going you'll be out of the EU too and part of the Caliphate.

That aside, I would have thought Comrade Corbyn would fit right in at the EU, it being peopled predominantly with water melons and all. :)

Comrade Corbyn would be insulted by suggestion that he's red only inside.

Re Caliphate part, it's not like the UK is doing much better in this regard.

Ref the first bit, fair one.  :)

Ref the second bit, last time I checked Call Me Dave hasn't invited the c.3-5,000 representatives of the Ummah camped out at Calais to come on in and give their mates a shout too, whereas Ms Merkel has invited up to a million who are currently arriving or inbound as just the first tranche, and has had to backtrack by closing the border with Austria and putting the Bundeswehr on alert even though German law precludes them becoming involved in riot control or worse. And that's without mentioning the threats to deport the non-Syrian, the   rioting and dire warnings from the local authorities that they have neither the space, infrastructure or money to cope with the influx. So while I'd very much agree the UK  is not doing much better in the long term, in the immediate term I'd argue the opposite is true.  :)

Spain should worry about keeping itself together rather than having neo-Hapsburg dreams.

This collection by the BBC does not read as if Corbyn was to introduce the people's democratic united soviet republics of england, wales, scotland and northern ireland (PDUSREWSNI :D). From about a month ago:

What is Jeremy Corbyn's programme for government?

left leaning, but no red flag waving revolution to create the worker's paradise.

Meanwhile the mud slinging starts. Jewish newspaper of course calls him an antisemite.

http://www.thejc.com...byn-must-answer

Some of his associates seem not the most sensibly chosen.

I still think the idea for renationalising the railway has got legs, no matter what the dogma of the day says. After all, if you can have an effectively nationalised passenger railway in that most freemarket of nations, the USA, then why cant we?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amtrak

After all, we already own the Railway infrastructure which is a point both Labour and the Conservatives seem to miss....

You lot don't have the money to piss away like we do.  Amtrak costs the taxpayer billions per yr.  S/F....Ken M

Amtrak is a terrible example of a functional and effective public rail system.

Unfortunately Mr Corbyn doesn't handle the trolls well. I fear he will be quite appalling at PMQ.

I think you should be, it would be jolly entertaining. :)

Re paint scheme, you would never get that past the EU directives on paint schemes. The nearest you could get would be midnight blue. :D

Nah, not entertaining. My ideal of government is a boring, in the background, small, effective one.

What I meant is that percentage of 'them' are fairly similar in Western Europe, this thing didn't start yesterday. Sure, Call Me Dave is more sensible that Frau Kanzler, having additional agreements with EU that excludes UK from some silliness doesn't hurt either.

As for the Germans having 'difficulties' in absorbing those 'refugees', we'll see how it will work, for now there are signs they are backtracking from the decision. I wouldn't be surprised if they had a gov crisis soon, as co-ruling CSU doesn't seem to be amused.
