Surprised they didn't have an exposé on who was on shift that night, they dropped it faster than the Vegas shooting.

CNN actually asked Hillary how she had Epstein killed! And she cackled like the wicked witch she is!  Wow, even CNN is admitting that Epstein was murdered.  https://www.thegatew...-cackles-video/

Nothing lights a fire underneath the bureaucracy of things like fear of something, or someone higher up.

Hillary's laughter might have been of relief, and a sentiment shared in private by a multitude of others.

More on Baden here http://nymag.com/int...eins-death.html

I think the whole thing stinks to high heaven actually, but probably more due to the fact that the MCC is horrifying mismanaged (as is nycs prison system).

That was a concise read on Baden's background credentials. It probably would have been better in terms of optics and credibility for the Epstein estate to have hired someone else in the field. The obvious follow-up question to ask would be why the hell didn't it.

One wonders if Baden was the only one willing to take the gig, similar in some ways to how Canseco was the only one out there enough to take on MLB over steroids.

No argument regarding the MCC, which appears to be the bureaucratic equivalent of a garbage dump. Interestingly, this would make it the weak link in the bureaucratic security chain protecting Epstein, from himself, and perhaps others.

Yeah, I mean I obviously dont have any inside info but Occams Razor would indicate that it was a total MCC fuckup. Definitely sounds more reasonable than the Clintons sending in their team of ninjas or whatever.

Bigger scandal in terms of human life is Rikers Island, which is basically a third world hellhole and will hopefully soon be closed.

The NYT article I previously mentioned notes that others disputed those claims of incompetance and sensationalism. When two guys say A and a bunch more say B, I'm inclinded to think B.

As both a prosecutor and private practitioner, I have worked death cases with Dr. Baden and found his extensive knowledge, professional experience, and outstanding analytical abilities to be invaluable. While I have worked with other well-qualified forensic pathologists, Baden is, in my estimation, the best of his profession. He has performed over 20,000 autopsies; served as director of the Forensic Investigation Center of the New York State Police; was chairman of the Forensic Pathology Panel of Congress’ Select Committee on Assassinations, which reinvestigated the deaths of President Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr.; and has held scores of similar professional, teaching, and governmental appointments.

Moreover, when it comes to investigating prison inmate deaths, he has unequaled medico-legal expertise, as evidenced by his 17-page curriculum vitae, which includes entries for his four-year stint as the special forensic pathology consultant to the task force that investigated the Attica Prison riot deaths and his five decades on the New York State Correction Medical Review Board, which investigates deaths in the state’s correctional facilities.

He also observed that “the ligature is made out of torn strips of orange sheets, and whoever made it had to put a lot of DNA on it.” Nevertheless, no information has been released “regarding whose DNA was on the ligature.” Since this death occurred in a federal facility, Baden wants to know if the FBI took possession of the ligature. If so, since “it only takes a couple of days to do the DNA, what’s the result?”

Suprise! Suprise! Suprise!  The video outside of Epstein's cell is missing.  Isn't that just a wonderful coincidence?  https://www.breitbar...ell-is-missing/  I'd search the FBI agents who got there first.

One of them sporting a fairly pronounced British accent and a sidearm looking like a Walther PPK would not surprise anyone at this point.

I can't access the original report linked to by Breitbart, but from their quote this refers to footage from the 23 July incident after which he was temporarily put on suicide watch, not his 10 August death, which the article kinda conflates. Unsure about what happened to the earlier video after Epstein's lawyers filed to retain it two days later; can anybody post the full relevant parts of the "Daily News" piece?

No, James Bond would have killed him with the sink.

The "Daily News" doesn't work for me since it apparently doesn't conform to EU privacy regulations (you know, "this site surprisingly uses cookies, take it or leave it"). Your link doesn't cover the issue of the 23 July footage, but is actually more interesting since the indictment includes detailed description of Epstein's prison unit and the (in-)actions of the guards on duty the night he died - of which there obviously is video.

It doesn't say whether there is a camera in the corridor of the tier with Epstein's cell (which apparently was the one right next to the single door from the unit's common area with the guard desk) in addition to the one in the common area itself; but it makes clear nobody entered the tier after 2200 hours that night, after the duty officers were supposed (but already failed) to do the first headcount of inmates. One of them went to tier door, but didn't enter, at 2230, after which they pretty much seem to have never left their desk. If there was external interference with Epstein's death, it would have to have been a classical locked room murder mystery.

Ah you wanted the one that looked like average MSM :)

Here you go B1, tried once, didn't go, but an hour later, I got through.

Surveillance footage outside of Jeffrey Epstein’s cell during suicide attempt is missing

Surveillance footage of the outside of Jeffrey Epstein’s cell at the troubled Metropolitan Correctional Center during his suicide attempt has gone missing, prosecutors revealed Wednesday.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Jason Swergold admitted nobody can find the footage of the outside of the cell the multimillionaire perv shared with accused quadruple murderer Nick Tartaglione during a hearing in White Plains District Court. Tartaglione, a former Briarcliff Manor cop, faces the death penalty for the alleged murders in a drug deal gone bad.

Bruce Barket, an attorney for Tartaglione, confirmed the stunning revelation that the footage was not preserved. The Manhattan U.S. Attorney’s Office declined comment.

Tartaglione’s attorneys filed a request for the footage to be retained two days after Epstein’s unsuccessful suicide attempt on July 23, Barket said.

“It is on the surface troubling,” Barket said. “I’ll reserve judgement until I’ve found out more details.”

Judge Kenneth Karas asked the government to look further into what happened to the footage.

The Daily News previously reported that Tartaglione claimed to have saved Epstein’s life after the pedophile perv tried to hang himself. Epstein reportedly claimed that Tartaglione attacked him.

“Nick acted appropriately and admirably,” Barket said.

The video footage was relevant to Tartaglione’s defense because it is potentially evidence of the ex-cop’s good character. In the event Tartaglione is found guilty and reaches the death penalty phase, the Epstein incident could possibly be evidence showing why he doesn’t deserve to die.

Epstein successfully hanged himself in a different cell two weeks later while awaiting trial for sex trafficking of underage girls. His body was discovered on Aug. 10. Two correctional officers have been charged with neglecting their duties and falsifying records the night of Epstein’s death.

Barket said that Tartaglione has still not been questioned about Epstein’s suicide. Multiple probes are underway about how Epstein managed to kill himself in the federal lock up.

You just can’t make this up!

Prosecutors say the surveillance footage outside of Jeffrey Epstein’s prison cell is missing from the night of his death.

Noted pedophile of the rich and powerful Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in his prison cell in Manhattan in August.

One of the cameras outside of Epstein’s prison cell where the convicted pedophile died earlier this month captured footage that is unusable, according to SF Gate.

It is unclear why the footage is unusable, however it is adding to the list of inconsistencies and strange coincidences surrounding Epstein’s death while in federal custody at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan.

The 66-year-old financier and convicted pedophile was found dead in his prison cell on a Saturday morning and the medical examiner ruled his death a suicide by hanging.
Epstein was found hanging in his cell from his bunk bed with a prison bedsheet wrapped around his head.

Epstein, who is 6 feet tall, reportedly secured the bedsheet on the bunk bed and wrapped the sheet around his neck.

Bill and Hillary Clinton reportedly stayed at the Epstein ranch in New Mexico several times.
Bill Clinton flew on Epstein’s planes several times.

Now prosecutors say the surveillance footage from outside of Epstein’s prison cell the night of his death is missing.

The New York Daily News reported:

A spokesman for the Manhattan U.S. Attorney’s Office and Bruce Barket, an attorney for Tartaglione, confirmed the stunning revelation that the footage was not preserved.
