Something I scanned some years ago, but for very reasons none of them very good, I never got around to putting up on the net. Anyway, hope its of interest. Ive some more when I have time to scan them out.

This one is the Royal Ordnance one for Challenger1. Its of interest because it shows the fairly rare early ones without the TOGS box, which as you can see here is also an unarmoured machine. Clearly they were reluctant to offer the Thermal equipped version abroad.

To be fair TOGS was not offered on those sold to the British Army it was a added after the order and was virtually identical to the system fitted to Chieftain there was even one switch on the control panel that was for the different tanks that crews would flick on for new commanders because it would cause image problems causing them to seek REME help and then feel stupid when the tech comes along and flicks the switch back.

I have to admit, I dont quite understand the early history of the tank around the time they were making the order. I DO know the first batch they delivered had the TOGS box on the side of the turret, and had some of the internal components. They supposedly had a difficult job keep up with demand, so production ran behind the tanks for a little while.

I think ive got another challenger brochure somewhere, Ill try and scan that next weekend if Im not busy.

Many a tank in Batus failed it's CABF because the Challenger crews put the wrong offset into the system, forgetting they were on smelly old Chieftain.

Apologies for how long thats taken, I know Sovnard and a few others asked for it. Ive no good reason for not putting it up before, but for various reasons life has been a bit chaotic for the last 2 years and it just kept flying by. Anyway, got a few others, who do you want first Warrior, or Chieftain 900?

I think ive the very top one 'A product of Royal Ordnance Factories' one, but not got the rest. Id cheerfully murder for the presentation one.

Ive also got one on RARDE establishments (got an interesting photo of the Chieftain with the turret test rig now at bovie)  Chieftain 900, MCV80, Rapier, and Vickers Main Battle tank Mk3.

Ive also got the Royal Jubilee 1977, where the Queen inspects her armoured forces in West Germany. Is there any interest in that one?

Im sorry ive not done any of these before. I spend all day in front of the PC working, and when im done, I usually dont feel like doing any more. I promise, Ill get my finger out this year.

Nice. Particularly like the way GD seem to take credit for the Churchill tank. :D

Here is the second one on Challenger 1. Some of the shots in this one are nearly screensaver worthy.

Hell, GD can't even take credit for the Abrams.  Almost every vehicle in the GD lineup was developed by someone else and then bought out by GD.

General Dynamics Churchill. It has a kind of noble ring to it. :D

Ive upped the Marconic Integrated fire control brochure on the Chieftain thread, but I may as well include the link here also

https://imgur.com/a/FJecP

Is it ok if I use direct linking? I dont want to crap out tanknets bandwidth.
