As an outside observer, I may not be qualified to comment, but based on the experiences of my parenting peers, two good quality parents are much more likely to be a suitable way to bring up children, especially if there is more than one.

I suspect that having two responsible parents, whatever the gender mix, is likely to be universally better than one, whatever the gender. Two parents share the load, and the load can be immense.

Bad parents are bad, no matter whether they're male, female or whatever they think they are.

Agree on all points.

A notable addition is that educated, middle-class single parents on average do better than working-class and subsistance-class single parents, in my observations (and in my previous job, I had to do a lot of life coaching with the latter). IMHO, it often* has less to do with the parent and more to do with the employers; salaried positions and flextime are usually waaaay different than the unforgiving, often hostile cultures that unskilled and semi-skilled folks endure. Another factor is that poor kids with single parents are in poor school systems with other poor kids, with violence and criminality being norms rather than exceptions.

* Yes, there is also the situation where people with a trend of bad decisions before childbirth keep making bad decisions afterwards.

Apparently Mexico is "concerned" that Trump is going to name Mexican Drug Cartels as terrorist organizations.  This will affect the Mexican government's money flow of bribes:  https://www.dailywir...t-organizations

Freezing and seizing their assets globally should a state of war be declared on them could provide funding for the building of Donald's wall.

New guidelines from Portland, Oregon's Planning and Sustainability Commission have sparked a major controversy in the city. Under a proposal introduced to the PSC on Nov. 12, the building design process would require owners to "provide opportunities" to the homeless population "to rest and be welcome." Many are interpreting the vague language—specifically the "rest and be welcome" requirements—as potentially forcing owners of new commercial and residential real estate to build "spaces" for homeless men and women to camp out on private property, even in apartment buildings.
Oriana Magnera, who presented the idea, told her fellow commissioners the city needs "spaces where [homeless] folks can feel supported and safe."

My reply would be the members of said commission lead by example. How about city owned buildings doing this instead of private property owners. Who has made Portland so expensive? Hint, its not the private property owners.

I remain confident that members of the city council will lead by example, and invite the meth heads to camp on their private properties.
