Zimbabwe Bbc News, Afv Identification?

It appears that these were actually Chinese-built APC`so but as to which model is another matter. Certainly one of the YW531 lineage but a later model with 5 road wheels and a 25mm 1 man turret.
Sorry are we looking at a Type 85 or a later Type 89? Zimbabwe, according to Wikipedia, has both types in its inventory. But how do you tell them apart?

If we are speaking about the same new report, there was a ZSD-89 (armed with 25mm) which was travelling in convoy together with the Type 85/89 mortar carriers, ARVs and ambulances.
Yes that would be it. I couldn't include the link to the BBC article as my phone generally takes a hissy fit when I try to do that.
I thought the turret looked familiar, it seems to be the same as that which was mounted on the WZ551 (now re-named ZSL-92) 6x6 IFV.
Wikipedia has it listed that the 25mm-armed version has been officially named the ZSD-89 II since it appears that it is now called as an IFV rather than an APC.
