He is even more explicit in the previous tweet.

So interesting to see “Progressive” Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly......

Now if he said 'Congresswoman', he might have had a point. But he didnt. Once is bad grammar, twice looks like a deliberate reinforcement of what he said.

There is no need to keep explaining it and interpreting it. He is pretty clear what he meant.

He told them what needed to be said. Next, I hope he does what needs to be done.

That is what I love about Trump, unlike most Republicans he fights back, and fights back hard.  I am SO TIRED of the Romneys, Bushes, and other milksop Republicans just taking it day after day from the Fake News Lying Media and the Communist Democrats.

Except he didnt say that. He conflated going to help the poorest foreign nations, a high minded idea, with these people 'going back', one of the lowest. Implying very strongly they aren't from America at all. Its almost a return to the birther controversy.

Please stop parroting leftist talking points and grow up. "Go back to where you came from" has been an American throw away insult for as long as the nation has existed and it is used by everybody toward everyone else.  Case in point, just this past spring an elderly Native American forced himself upon a 16 year old white boy and told him to go back to Europe.  This encounter went world wide viral with commensurate outrage.  Not because the teenage boy was told to go back from whence he came, but because he had the temerity of not saying a word.  Where was your outrage, Stuart?  Please feel free to cut and paste any quote by any leftist denouncing the Native American for his lowest of low insult.

And then Ivanka gets in his ear and he capitulates.  Instead of owning what he's said and using his bully pulpit to keep attacking the idiocy of political correctness, socialism, and those that hate our nation, he has gone silent except to admonish his supporters from doing what he has said and done.  He was absolutely correct in what he said, and he was receiving overwhelming support for it, and then he went silent and allowed the left to redefine what was said and done.  Trump won the early battle, he's now losing the war.

I agree.  Ivanka needs to stay at home with her husband for a while or doing charitable works.  What he said was 100% correct.  What I took it to mean was send them back where they came from..their previous jobs, and out of Congress.

There obviously is a need. Trump is a provacateur and manipulator, and the folks who take his tweets and quips on face value are the manipulated.

It was not that long ago that Trump brought up MS-13 as an example of why we need better border control, and all the hand-wringing leftists claimed he really meant all Latinos. Supposedly ruined his chances at 2020. Instead, the memestorm ended up improving his polls amongst Latino-Americans, and got the country arguing about immigration. Not to mention, causing a whole bunch of people to become aware of Omar's sketchy past.

And of course quietly altered the rules for asylum, about which the average American is not even aware.

Keep chasing that laser dot, one day you'll catch it!

Not me, I took it as the lame insult bandied about by all people toward all other peoples, during the entirety of human existence.

I just read an allusion to Henry Stimson accusing, amongst others, Calvin Coolidge for being a Nazi sympathizer. Have not yet tracked down a good reference.

Amusing, given Coolidge's record on civil rights.

Democrat Congressmen told Seb Gorka to go back to where he was from and tried to use their official powers to get his immigration documents so that they could have him THROWN out of the country. ZERO angst over that. Sorry, I'm not playing the crocodile tears game anymore.

Maybe I feel what the leader of the free world is significantly more important than what some native American says, or am I reaching here?

If one of these women ends up dead next week, who do you think they will blame? It's a millstone hung around his own neck and he STILL can't make up his mind whether to backtrack on it or keep repeating it.

Me too, I want to play by the Democrat rules, and make them choke on them.

Again parroting the American leftist line, he's president so he shouldn't say such things.  Where was your angst, where was the angst from the American left, when Obama's divisive words led to a real, as opposed to imaginary, assassination attempt on GOP congressmen?

He is President so should be trying to keep the country together, not making the divide wider.

It is ok when the left does it because it is "high minded statesmanship".

Indeed, unlike Obama and the American left who constantly remind us that divisiveness is what makes America great, Trump is taking the line that we should stop the self-loathing and tearing down of our nation.  The message being for those constantly trying to destroy the nation and or turn it into some kind of socialist utopia, leave.  Just go away.  Practice your leftist voodoo someplace else.  Leave the rest of us in peace so that we can continue to prosper.
