Guys:

I saw this pop on National Geographic channel: a Miniseries called 'The Long Road Home' about the 2004 'Black Sunday' Battle in Sadr City & the aftermath; unlike the Burns Docco, it's actually a docudrama with pretty competent actors & all that.

Anybody seen it or have any opinions?

Saw most of one chapter, looks good, like Black Hawk Down

Have watched 1 and 2, so far, well done with some decent acting.  Well worth it.

The Long Road Home; in retrospect...I found it well done & well acted. It was, like RETAC said, very much like Blackhawk Down blended with the home front from We were soldiers...well acted & heartwrenching on for both the Soldiers and the civilians who's home the main characters had to hole up in. Sadly Nat Geo didn't store the 'back story'  in it's 'in demand' queue, but if it pops up again, I will try to catch it.
