There's Hickok45, there's Ian of Forgotten weapons.

These are 2 of the more popular gun channel personalities.

And then there's Paul Harrell.

He's more of a handgun and shotgun guy and I prefer rifles, but I just love the presentation of his POVs.

I really like the Iraqveteran8888 channel too. All the above come across as really nice people.

On Paul's channel, I learnt about how simply using different brands of a similar type of ammo - e.g. different brands of similar weight FMJ - affected the point of impact.

He has interesting self-concocted tests of the effectiveness of different ammo types.

The thing that also amazes is how well Paul shoots.

For pure Polish crazy, check out the 'AK Operators Union, Local 47-74'. 'Rob Ski' is a Polish expat and Army National Guard infantryman. He also works with ARs.

Thanks, Panzermann. :)

It is operators union ;)

And yes they do some crazy shit with their AKs, but have actually serious weapons handling and technique advise to offer besides the sillyness.

I like the cap & ball channel https://www.youtube....user/capandball

a hungarian history teacher (i think) shooting anything blackpowder.

I had never had any interest in small conceal carry firearms until I chanced upon this video from Paul. Still my favourite.

I love watching videos of Tom Knapp shoot.  I mean, yeah, he was a Benelli spokesperson but so what, watching him was so much fun.

Does not keep him from knowing how to shoot. ;)

When I want to watch someone doing some crazy skill shooting I watch Jerry Miculek.

That's why I carry one of those S&W snubs (a Model 49) in my pocket.  Here in Alabama, summers are hot with mild winters.  Pocket carry enables me to dress comfortably, yet have only one carry method year-round.  This helps eliminate confusion finding the gun if it's ever needed.  Practice, of course, is essential.

Smart. I frequently wonder about the Gun-Of-The-Month ilk, and the Concealed-Carry-Holster-Of-The-Month ilk.

I keep thinking about a video of Special Forces in Afganistan where a soldier suddenly reached for his pistol:  His hand reflexively went to his belt, but the gun was in a drop holster...

No wish to sensationalize, but Paul should know a few things about self-defense:

Harrell freed of manslaughter charges in Troy shooting
