How in the world is Kong supposed to fight Godzilla and not get obliterated?  The Kong from a few years ago is maybe 1/10 the size of Godzilla, our weapons actually hurt Kong, and Godzilla could just cough that breath attack of his and melt Kong.

Them teaming up I could see work... but fighting each other?  I was always puzzled when I first heard that a few years ago.

years ago this cartoon was on 9gag

He looked pretty good, considering he rode a H bomb into ground zero....

This looks like it might be interesting, a war film on the Ukrainian defence of Pristina Airport.

Now that GRRM is freed up, expect him to be a consulting writer and a whole bunch of franchise characters offed in the next few years' movies.

Might depend on how well Kong vs Godzilla does. Money made is hefty but profits not as good as with avengers or the recent star wars. Might need bigger profit to attract GRRM.

I could easily see Kong being killed off on the basis of the optics of his caricature-based origins that have not aged well alone.

Godzilla delivering the coup de grace to the Kong caricature would be modernist art.

Carrier Ibuki overall was OK or good, depends on what is wanted. There was a lot of dialogue about difference between self-defense and war and to what degree should the Japanese force fight back and so on. The enemy force was an non-identified force, yeah right, an un-identified force with a carrier that looked like Liaoning. But an example of the Japanese side holding back was a Soryu sub that had an enemy sub clear in its sights, but in order to stop it without killing all the crew, they rammed it. I guess that stuff could be appreciated in that it doesn't savor in destroying via JSDF but well kind of just wanted to see it shoot the enemy sub with torpedoes. There is some scenes with the prime minster also and he is much like the PM in Shin-Godzilla, very worried about the constitution and so on. Aside from some visual inaccuracies such as the weak smoke trial behind some missiles or red hinomaru instead of grey shade on the F-35, generally good action scenes. Kind of neat seeing Japanese F-35s in action and blasting away some enemy aircraft. A fair number of little engagements too so it keeps the pace from going too slow. Ending was, I guess appropriate to be politically safe, but boring. Another visual inaccuracy was that the insignia patch was the regualr Japanese flag when reality, JMSDF were the raising soon. That was annoying and got quite a number of criticism on Japanese webs. Going too far to not upset the anti-raising sun flag group. But overall, I think I could watch it again some day. Some teaser clips of some fight scenes.

Me too. But ive a 1-350 model of Titanic and the Battleship Yamato, it would be good to have a flattop to accompany them.

Strangely, nobody does one yet. Airfix did a one off for the Ship, but they have yet to commit to make a model of her for release to the public.

There's gotta be one for her some day. If never, just have to settle for Ibuki :)

What I really want is 1/35 scale of some early American tanks like the M2 medium or M2 light. There isn't even one of the M2A4 out there and that one served on Guadalcanal.
