So what will stop the increasing levels of CO2 emissions?

I talked to a man who had relocated from China to here but I don't think he was Chinese.  He talked about how much less yield the traditional fishing fleets were generating,  These were all small family fishermen.

It was a sobering analysis

Who is demanding someone else make what "sacrifices" exactly?

If you can't practice what you preach, why the hell are you preaching it.

What am I "preaching"?

I'm sorry I was under the impression you believed in anthropogenic global warming, which means human caused global warming through pollution?

Sorry I forgot NASA is a Marxist agency.

It's the home for a number of them.  Plus it funds junk climate science.

Funny how no matter what the problem is, the solution is ALWAYS less freedom and more taxes.

Which factors to: less freedom and even less freedom.

On another note, Leftist gun grabbers were in orgasmic delight today as they watched law abiding citizens of New Zealand disarm themselves, because that's what a new law stated.  On a related note, US gun grabbing leftists want to both disarm law abiding citizens AND return the franchise to criminals.  It's as if Leftists want inmates guarding the asylum.

From the left-wing viewpoint, criminals are much more reliable than hereticsconservatives, much less libertarians.

For big problems? WWII was fought by collective resourcing and enforced rationing "less freedom". That was a extreme case but the point being the solution doesn't fall on individuals good faith and volunteerism.

I have faith in scientists based on the history of science, and where we are today because of it. Am I "preaching" because I believe evolution as a theory?

Why are you "preaching" on behalf of the fossil fuel industry?

As for practice, my family practices efficiencies that both reduce carbon footprint and cut costs. Its more about what we don't do. From diet, to heating a modest sized home neutrally, and the high mileage vehicles we drive. The biggest impact being in the number of children we have (2).

You say you believe in the scientist, but all you do is make the most minor of minor reductions to your personal life style that is most likely just due to your family budget.  Yeah okay Paul. I imagine you will actually start putting your money where your mouth is about the same time you give up your own guns. So never. It always for someone else to make the actual sacrifices. Not the likes of very important people like of you.

The thing is huge sacrifices by any individual isn't required as you seem to imply. The constrains I have in place are both due to values and budget, because energy use is a cost. Less energy consumption = less cost. Chicken is cheaper than beef, 2 kids vs 5, gas mileage, ect.

They are not really top scientists, they are political groups impersonating scientists.  But even they can do some of the math. And no way are solar panels and wind farms going to replace fossil fuel in 15 years.
