Jordan Peterson has apparently announced a new Social Media Platform. It will monetize creators BUT will specifically have a free speech concept at it's core.

Thinkspot. Not up yet however.

Our corporate masters have a lot of work to do to prepare for the 2020 election. Look for conservative voices to be all but silenced before we get too far into 2020. They can't afford to allow alternate views to get out, let alone word of the election malfeasance of the Left to be disseminated.

I strongly suspect they're going to overplay their hand.

More leftist attacks on Free Speech.  They really are the enemy of the people:  https://pjmedia.com/...orship-iceberg/

Censorship is so inclusive.

Welcome to the free market. Exclusionary speech is a bad business model.

We are heading for an American Samizdat.

From a network nerd's POV, what we will be seeing over the next decade is an evolution towards a peer-to-peer network, rather than centralized.

IOW, GPG instead of S/MIME.

GPG is fine for small groups, but it doesn't scale well. If that's your path to the future, Facebook's continued dominance is guaranteed.

Any attempt to produce a non-SJW social media platform will be de-platformed by Big SJW, which will eventually include Tier 1 thru Tier 3 ISPs.

Either conservatives and libertarians find a way to "route around the damage" or accept that one by one every nation on Earth will go all 1984.

It is especially uncomfortable to use PGP or GPG. People are lazy. For most purposes Facebook works for them.

Really, in Germany at least everyone knows how bad Facebook is in many ways, but still most all are there and they look at me funny, when I tell them I am not there.
