This took place in May at the Outer Hebrides test range run by QinietiQ.

USS Roosevelt (DDG-80) firing (There are several different views, this is just one of them). At least one engagement was with SM-3 of a ballistic missile simulator:


HMS Defender (Type 45) engaging a supersonice sea-skimmer (Firejet). Watch this one to the end.



Apparently Sea Ceptor and ESSM were also used, but I can't find video for these.

I wonder how the RN gets on cooparating with the USN in air defence engagements as, IIRC, we opted to save money by not going ahead with CEC even between D class destroyers, let alone with anyone else's systems.
