No idea. I wouldnt be surprised if we dont. We went through the entire Harrier II's life without fitting a working one.

Historically, the RAF has referred to it's aircraft by their names (Tornado, Typhoon, Harrier, Hercules, etc.). The RAF folks that I work with on occasion seem to use the term "F35" rather than "Lightning". Is this the norm for this particular aircraft?

No idea. Perhaps they dont want to cause confusion with the EE Lightning? Though it must been before all their time.
