I remember the publicity photos for that new uniform. Reminded me of nothing like the Death Star Troopers'. All they need is the elongated black helmets. (What are they supposed to protect from, anyway?)

While obviously more exaggerated, they always reminded me of the British MkIII/IV 'Turtle' helmets.
