Strangely it does not. Planned to get it in later iterations.

I think the project is more about keeping domestic industries going and national pride.

Close-up of underside of J-20, consistent usage of saw-tooth edges on the paneling, like the American planes and different from the Su-57:

The word "Firefox" in Chinese near the rearward-firing missile array becomes visible.

He was joking. I guess you have never seen Firefox?

Ive read there is a great similarity in the intake ducts and the F35. Which im sure was a complete coincidence...

It does look like Firefox in many respects. A shame that going on 40 years later, no plane can yet fly like it.

This week NATO has finally given the Su-57 a reporting name: "FELON". ^_^

Pretty, but it doesnt look very stealthy.

The Ronald Reagan Presidential library has taken delivery of an F117 its putting on display.

They also appear to have one of the F14A's that took part in one of the Libyan Shootdowns.

True that it isn't very stealthy. IIRC, the canopy is the same as the one on the T-4 trainer aircraft.

There are ways around it. You can apparently impregnate canopies with gold inlay (No, ive no idea how its done, only that it could be done) and that reflects radar returns. You still have the issue of it not being shaped stealthily though, though perhaps not worth doing, I gather the F22 has a real issue with the pilots having big helmets, the reason why HMS has never been used on an F22.

A new canopy will be needed I'd imagine. Using the T-4 canopy was probably for cost cutting while testing different systems that would be needed for the new fighter such as thrust victoring data. A stealth mock-up was made before the X-2 and its stealthiness was tested in France around 2009.

Definitely has an appropriate ring to it. The question is whether the name will stick.
