That curriculum is indeed pretty freaky--especially to be presenting to very young kids.

 

 

How so? It's all stuff even the most basic internet aware child/teen is going to come across on their own. My only real issue is that it's a rather politically loaded curriculum: non-adults do not need to get involved in gender politics before they've developed the rhetorical/logical faculties to meaningfully converse about the issue.

 

I really don't see the problem with teaching kids about the mechanics of sex, and especially how not to screw up in their late pre-teens because a large number of youth become sexually active in their very early teens, and parents simply cannot be relied on to be good educators.

I have only had it once, and it was duck confit poutine.  It was one of the most amazing things I have ever tasted........and that is coming from someone who does not like duck all that much.
