I find it very surprising that a country that has such a huge civilian firearm userbase and supporting industry and has done for well over a century has foisted its military with so many outmoded, ill conceived or downright crap firearm designs.


What we did was foist our military with two buildings full of lawyers (the Capitol building and the PentagramPentagon). The rest is history (and national debt).
