Same as the West drawing red lines etc.
A lot of posturing, little real interest in what happens and even less plan what to do afterwards.
We seem to be in an age of instant gratification.
There generally seems to be a lack of critical thinking on all sides, If I hold this nail and hit it with this hammer at the same time as I close my eyes what is likely to happen. Six months ago everyone was saying how good a chess player Vlad is. I have difficulty seeing what he would class as a win and what he will have won.
The more Russia screams and shouts the deeper the hole they dig and the West keeps giving them a shovel and a bucket to help them get deeper.
He is more and more being best by choices they made in the past. And Putin is getting more and more painted into a corner, by his own device.
I said before, i think this is going to be an Agadir moment. The 'we dodged a bullet' moment. My fear was less what happened this time, but the next time when he paints himself into a corner he cant duck out of, because that day is coming. Heck, even Glenn now admits its conceivable.
I dont disagree with the shovel and bucket analogy. Time will tell whether this was once such instant, or the day we told them to pay for what they use.
