This is an unusual one from the BBC. Phillipe Sand's, a genocide investigator, goes through the private documents of Horst Von Wachter, son of Otto Wachter, Austrian Lawyer, Governer of Galicia, founder of the Galicia division and a Nazi war criminal. Horst doesnt believe his father is a war criminal but was a good guy, but through that disagreement unfolds a strange story that takes in Nazi war crimes, obsessional love, strange history, a possible murder, and the start of the cold war and the foundations of the CIA. Sounds a real downer, but its very, very thought provoking. Well worth a listen. Yes, its 10 episodes, so download them already.

No, sadly not. But they are all downloadable as MP3, so you can play them on a kindle or even in a car suitably equipped with a USB port. You can always listen to episode 11 with Stephen Fry to see if its something worth going through all 10. But it is. :)
